Cosmetics manufacturing and development company IMINE is seeing growth in its overseas client base and sales.

On October 1, IMINE announced that it secured over 10 new overseas clients last year, with new clients making up 20% of its total overseas clientele.

The company explained that it incorporates market demand identified through local brands and distribution partners into its product development. Local partners relay trends in formulations, consumer reviews, and changes in offline store displays via social media, which IMINE uses to develop formulations, materials, and packaging.

To secure clients in major markets such as the U.S. and Europe, IMINE participates in global beauty exhibitions like Makeup in New York and Cosmoprof. The company discusses product development and supply with overseas buyers met at these exhibitions to facilitate transactions.

In recent years, about 15% of the total overseas clients generating annual sales each year have been new clients. In 2025, IMINE reported sales from a total of 77 overseas clients across 25 countries.

IMINE's overseas sales increased by approximately 87% from 2021 to 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 17%. Sales growth was particularly notable in the North American and Asian markets.

The range of products traded has expanded from core offerings like hydrogel and sheet masks to include basic skincare items such as ampoules, toners, scrubs, and mask pads. In the U.S., the product range has shifted from hydrogel to basic skincare, while in Japan, it has expanded from sheet masks to include basic skincare and hand and foot care products.

An IMINE representative stated, "The increase in new overseas clients and the expansion of transactions with existing clients in both the hydrogel and skincare product lines are notable. We will continue to broaden our connections with overseas clients based on product development and production tailored to market-specific demands."

Meanwhile, IMINE plans to leverage its formulation and product development expertise in skincare to expand into the makeup sector. The company aims to develop hybrid color products that combine the attributes of both basic and color cosmetics in line with the trend of blurring the lines between the two categories.
