NHN Data is strengthening the account protection features of its Instagram marketing solution to support the stable operation of customer accounts.

On October 7, NHN Data announced the expanded application of account protection features in its marketing solution, SocialBiz.

SocialBiz is an automated marketing solution for Instagram direct messages (DMs) developed in collaboration with Meta. Recently, NHN Data has sequentially enhanced related features to respond to situations that may arise during account management, including DM sending volume control, improvements to message sending policies, control of automatic replies to comments, and verification of post restrictions.

The DM automation service goes beyond simply sending messages automatically; it is crucial to adjust the sending methods in line with changes in Instagram's operational policies. NHN Data has continuously monitored Meta's operational policies and improved the features of SocialBiz accordingly.

First, a DM sending limit setting feature has been introduced. This allows customers to distribute replies and DMs according to a set hourly sending volume, even when many users respond in a short time due to events or popular posts. This helps reduce the concentration of messages sent during specific time frames, supporting stable account management.

The message sending policy has also been refined. Considering the possibility that promotional content in the first DM may limit message delivery, the principle of sending a 'basic message' that encourages users to request necessary information first has been established. This basic message can include the recipient's name, allowing for personalized communication.

The automatic reply feature for comments has been enhanced with a function to prevent unusual activity. If there is a sudden increase in reactions to a post resulting in consecutive replies of the same pattern, SocialBiz will detect this and temporarily suspend automatic replies. Scheduled DMs will still be sent normally during this suspension, and the automatic reply feature will reactivate after a set period.

A new feature has also been added to allow administrators to check posts or reels with restricted access on the SocialBiz management page. This means that if replies or DMs cannot be sent normally due to access restrictions on posts or reels, administrators can verify the relevant information on the management page.
