On October 6, the Ansan Fire Department conducted safety training for 63 students from the Emergency Medical Technology program at Ansan University at the Gyeonggi Provincial National Safety Experience Center.

According to the fire department, the training was designed to provide students with hands-on experience in disaster and safety accident scenarios, allowing them to learn how to assess and respond to dangerous situations.

Students participated in various programs at the experience center, including disaster safety, camping safety, and traffic safety.

Through simulated training scenarios, they learned to observe their surroundings and take initial action in the event of an accident.

In particular, the Emergency Medical Technology students connected their classroom learning with real-life safety experiences, reinforcing the importance of on-site response.

Students who participated in the training expressed their thoughts, stating, "Experiencing the situation firsthand made me realize the importance of remaining calm and making sound judgments," and, "It helped me learn basic safety rules and initial response methods in case of emergencies."

The fire department hopes this training will enhance students' safety awareness and response capabilities in disaster situations.

Fire Chief Ko Young-joo remarked, "It is meaningful for students preparing in the emergency medical field to experience various safety situations firsthand."

He added, "We will continue to provide hands-on training to ensure that young people are aware of safety and can respond appropriately in crisis situations."
