Samsung Electronics announced that its 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator and the portable screen 'Moving Style' have won the '2026 Smart Home Awards' from Forbes Vetted, a product evaluation platform by Forbes, on October 12.
Forbes Vetted established the Smart Home Awards this year, selecting 50 innovative products across seven categories, including kitchen appliances, cleaning, home office, and home entertainment. Experts in each field evaluated hundreds of products over seven months, testing their performance and convenience in real-life settings.
The Bespoke AI Family Hub was recognized in the kitchen appliance category. It was the first product introduced among the 50 award winners announced last month and is the only refrigerator to receive this honor.
Forbes Vetted praised the Family Hub for its systematic storage structure and the 'Beverage Center,' which features a water dispenser and an automatic water pitcher. The 32-inch screen on the front of the refrigerator allows users to check schedules and weather, as well as access various functions like a web browser, photo gallery, and music.
The refrigerator's internal camera, which helps manage ingredients, received particular acclaim. Users can check the contents of the refrigerator remotely through the Samsung mobile application, facilitating efficient grocery shopping and ingredient management.
A judge who evaluated the product stated, "It transforms the kitchen into the control center of the home," highlighting the Family Hub's potential as a smart home device that goes beyond simple food storage.
The Bespoke AI Family Hub has previously been recognized for its excellence by Forbes Vetted. In May, it was named the overall best product in the 'Best Refrigerator' category, and in October of last year, it was also awarded the top spot in the 'Best Smart Refrigerator' category.
The Moving Style portable screen was recognized in the home office category. It received high marks for its versatility in both work and leisure settings.
Tech analyst Avi Greengart, who participated in the evaluation, described it as "an ideal display that can be adjusted in height and features a rotation function for viewing short-form and vertical videos, making it suitable for both work and leisure spaces."
Moving Style allows users to adjust the screen height and direction, enabling flexible placement according to the environment. It can stream content directly from a monitor or watch live channels and on-demand content through 'Samsung TV Plus' without needing additional device connections. This feature is a significant advantage.
Forbes Vetted also positively noted that Moving Style offers various functions at a price below $900. In August, it was named the 'Best 4K Wheel Stand Monitor' in PC Magazine's '2026 Best 4K Monitors' evaluation.
