Hanjin achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue in the third quarter of this year. Increased cargo volume in port operations and improved performance from overseas subsidiaries in the Americas, Hong Kong, and Vietnam contributed to a rise in operating profit compared to the same period last year.

On October 12, Hanjin announced that its consolidated revenue for the third quarter of 2026 reached 889.8 billion won, with an operating profit of 32.6 billion won. These figures represent increases of 11.3% and 5.8%, respectively, from the previous year.

The third-quarter revenue marks the highest performance for any quarter in the company's history, with growth across all business sectors, including parcel delivery, port operations, and global business.

Operating profit increased due to a rise in cargo volume in port operations, particularly at Incheon and Pyeongtaek ports. Although fixed costs rose due to the establishment of new fulfillment centers in the global business segment, performance improved in overseas subsidiaries in the Americas, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.

A Hanjin official stated, "As overseas demand for domestic beauty and industrial products increases, we expect to break our annual revenue record with the onset of the fourth quarter's global shopping season. We will focus on expanding our global network to support the overseas expansion of K-manufacturing and small businesses while enhancing our business competitiveness."

Meanwhile, Hanjin is strengthening its smart logistics capabilities based on artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. The company plans to utilize new technologies, including physical AI, to improve logistics operational efficiency in the future.
