Krafton plans to recruit over 100 new talents equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) skills across all job categories, marking its largest recruitment effort to date.

On October 13, Krafton announced the launch of its '2027 Recruitment-linked Internship' program. This initiative aims to secure and nurture 'AI Native' junior talents throughout the company.

Krafton is expanding its business scope by pursuing new AI projects based on the technology and expertise accumulated in game development and operations.

Last year, Krafton declared its transition to an AI-first company, promoting organizational innovation that utilizes AI as a problem-solving tool across all operations. The company has observed the changes AI brings to work processes and believes that combining existing expertise with AI-capable talents can enhance synergy.

To support this, Krafton announced plans to invest approximately 30 billion won annually starting this year to assist employees in utilizing AI tools and to foster a work environment that encourages AI learning and experimentation.

The recruitment will cover six job categories: AI research, technology, support, business, game development (programming), and game development (planning). Eligible candidates include graduates and soon-to-be graduates from domestic and international universities.

Evaluations will focus on AI utilization skills, general cognitive abilities, and global competencies, with particular emphasis on the potential to learn quickly and solve problems using AI. The selection process will include document screening, aptitude tests, AI competency assessments, and interviews. The AI competency assessment will utilize Krafton's proprietary AI Native recruitment and evaluation solution, 'Cofa-Probe.'

Applications will be accepted from today until October 23 on Krafton's recruitment website. Following tests and interviews from November to December, final candidates will be announced in January 2027. Successful candidates will start in February 2027, working for five months, after which their transition to full-time positions will be determined based on evaluation results in July.

Han So-young, head of Krafton's HR department, stated, “As Krafton expands its AI-based new business, the need for individuals to lead this growth has increased, and we have broadened job opportunities and growth prospects for young people. Starting with this recruitment, we aim to combine the capabilities of AI Native juniors with the expertise of our existing organization to create new business opportunities.”
