LX Pantos is embarking on an innovation journey in technology-driven logistics, focusing on robotic transformation (RX) and artificial intelligence transformation (AX) as its core drivers. The company aims to significantly enhance its contract logistics (CL) competitiveness by transitioning from a labor-intensive business model to a technology-based operational system.

Recently, LX Pantos announced the opening of the TDL Lab, a technology research and demonstration hub, at the MegaWise Cheongna Logistics Center in Incheon.

TDL (Tech Driven Logistics) represents LX Pantos's technology-based logistics operational system, where advanced technologies such as robotics and AI will be validated and optimized for real-world application.

According to LX Pantos, the TDL Lab will operate as an open innovation space. The company plans to establish a 'TDL Alliance' with leading firms in software and hardware to discover and validate promising technologies for implementation in the field, creating a virtuous ecosystem. The alliance is currently expanding through memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with seven domestic and international companies, including LG CNS, Hi Robotics, and Libiao Robotics.

LX Pantos has identified five key technologies: mobile robots, robotic arms, next-generation mobility, artificial intelligence, and digital twins, to drive the automation, intelligence, and optimization of its logistics centers. The company plans to implement a phased roadmap leading to human-robot collaboration, full automation, and intelligent logistics centers.

Oh Jae-hyuk, Vice President of LX Pantos and head of the CL division, stated, "The core of TDL is to organically integrate advanced technologies into the overall operation of logistics centers, going beyond the introduction of automated equipment to enhance customer-centric solutions. We will implement a future-oriented logistics center operating model through collaboration with various technology companies."
