Hite Jinro is expanding its social contribution activities to include police officers, following its previous support for firefighters. In celebration of Police Day, the company is sending snack trucks to police stations in the Chungnam region to express gratitude and support for approximately 2,900 police officers working in the field.

On October 16, Hite Jinro announced that it will conduct the 'Thank You Snack Truck' event, visiting seven police stations in Chungnam until November 4.

This initiative is part of Hite Jinro's social contribution activities in the safety sector. Since signing a memorandum of understanding with the National Fire Agency in 2018, the company has been involved in improving the treatment of firefighters and supporting their families. This year, the support has been extended to include police officers responsible for crime prevention and public safety.

The snack trucks began their journey on October 14 at the Cheonan Seobuk Police Station and will visit a total of seven stations, including the Chungnam Provincial Police Agency, Cheonan Dongnam, Asan, Nonsan, Dangjin, and Seocheon Police Stations. The selected stations are those with a significant number of outstanding police officers recognized by the Chungnam Provincial Police Agency in the fields of public safety, investigation, and community safety.

Hite Jinro plans to provide snacks and beverages to 2,918 police officers at these stations. The menu will consist of one item chosen from churros, hot dogs, or cup fruits based on a prior demand survey conducted with each station.

This event is being piloted in collaboration with the Chungnam Provincial Police Agency and the Chungcheongnam-do Social Welfare Council. Based on the results of this operation, Hite Jinro aims to expand support to police officers in other regions in the future.

Jang In-seop, CEO of Hite Jinro, stated, "We wanted to express our gratitude and support to those who dedicate themselves to public safety, which is why we have expanded our support to include police officers following our assistance to firefighters. We will continue to support those working on the front lines to contribute to the spread of local safety culture."

Meanwhile, Hite Jinro has identified safety, environment, sharing, and youth as its four key areas of social contribution and is actively engaged in related projects. These include environmental cleanup activities, river protection initiatives, and various programs to support youth independence, such as the 'Dukguk Bakery' and assistance for residents in goshiwons and vulnerable communities.
