JP Innovation has secured a 36.8 billion won project for synthetic equipment for cosmetic raw materials by internalizing process, piping, and electrical design, and establishing an integrated EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) system.

CEO Lee Je-hwan stated during a meeting hosted by the Korea Management Innovation Small Business Association on October 14 at the company's production facility in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, "We have been recognized for our ability to handle everything from equipment design to commissioning, going beyond simple equipment manufacturing."

The factory features large reactors, filter dryers, and PD mixers, which are used in processes requiring the mixing and dispersion of high-viscosity materials for secondary batteries and functional materials.

Founded in 2009, JP Innovation started by manufacturing raw material synthesis reaction equipment and has since evolved into a small but strong company that designs, procures, and constructs customized equipment for high-value industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, K-beauty, and secondary batteries.

With 30 years of experience in petrochemicals and process equipment, CEO Lee has completed a one-stop system by internalizing design capabilities and introducing 3D design and enterprise resource planning (ERP). As a result, the supply amount for medium to large projects surged from approximately 2 billion won in 2023 to over 8 billion won in 2025, successfully scaling up projects.

The company's financial performance has also seen explosive growth. Revenue jumped 139% from 23.6 billion won in 2024 to 56.3 billion won last year, while operating profit soared 560% from 935 million won to 6.168 billion won during the same period.

Currently, the most successful sectors are K-beauty cosmetic raw material equipment and pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related equipment, which account for 60% of sales. CEO Lee noted, "The equipment for the globally successful 'Joseon Beauty' sunscreen raw material was also expanded using our facilities, and we successfully developed the domestic first 'powder refiner' for obesity treatment, which had a high dependency on imports." The company has also achieved exports of secondary battery mixers (PDH mixers) to the U.S. and Turkey.

JP Innovation's next target is semiconductor materials. To this end, the company has secured a 2,000-pyeong site in Anseong, just 15 minutes from the SK Hynix Yongin cluster and Samsung Pyeongtaek campus, following its engineering headquarters in Dongtan. Half of the 34 billion won in orders received in the third quarter is for semiconductor-related projects.

CEO Lee expressed ambitions for the future, stating, "We are currently working on establishing a new factory spanning 10,000 pyeong in Hwaseong H Techno Valley, and we aim to challenge for a KOSDAQ listing (IPO) in May next year with our unique competitiveness in simultaneously manufacturing equipment and executing EPC."
