Lotte Construction has been recognized with the National Assembly's Land and Transport Committee Award at the 2026 Aju Economic Construction Awards for its project 'Pyeongchon Lotte Castle Le Ciel,' which transforms a long-vacant site into a mixed-use residential space while enhancing public amenities for local residents.

The Pyeongchon Lotte Castle Le Ciel is planned as a mixed-use complex consisting of four buildings, each rising up to 48 stories, located in Pyeongchon-dong, Anyang, Gyeonggi Province. This project utilizes a site that was previously designated for a bus terminal but remained undeveloped for an extended period.

The project focuses on integrating residential, commercial, and cultural functions with public contribution facilities. Plans include a swimming pool and library on the public contribution site in front of the complex, expanding cultural and recreational facilities accessible to both residents and the local community.

The residential units will feature various layouts ranging from 47 to 119 square meters, designed with 3- and 4-bay configurations to optimize natural light and ventilation. The design emphasizes storage space, incorporating features like dressing rooms and pantries.

The exterior design differentiates the building forms and facades while considering views and sunlight. The project also aims to connect with existing green spaces, such as Pyeongchon Central Park and Jayu Park.

The top floor will include a private sky lounge and rooftop garden for residents, providing a space for relaxation and social interaction while enjoying views of the urban landscape and surrounding nature.

Additionally, the design incorporates smart home Internet of Things (IoT) technology, an Energy Management System (EEMS), high-performance ventilation, and fine dust reduction systems. These features enhance residential convenience and energy efficiency.

Community facilities will include a fitness club, group exercise room, children's café, children's library, private study rooms, and group study rooms. These amenities are strategically placed to facilitate various activities within the complex.
