Callaway Golf Korea announced the official launch of the new Odyssey putter model, 'TRTL (Turtle) MAX S2S,' in the domestic market.

This new product joins the existing lineup (DB, CH, S, S2S). It enhances stroke stability by increasing the head size and weight while maintaining the existing S2S model's strength of minimizing wobble at impact, which helps with face control.

The name 'Turtle' is derived from the animal, with the hexagonal structure at the center of the head resembling a shell, while the surrounding frame represents the turtle's legs.

Notable is the precise weight distribution designed to increase the moment of inertia (MOI). Lightweight materials are used in the shell and sole at the center of the head, while the outer weight is increased to enhance head stability.

Additionally, four weights of 10g each are installed at the front and back of the sole, maximizing the moment of inertia. This design reduces head wobble even when the ball is struck off-center, ensuring consistent direction and distance.

The face features the 'Ai-STAR insert,' which provides a solid feel and aids in precise distance control. The structure combines a hard urethane material at the front with aluminum at the back to enhance ball speed consistency.

Setup stability has also been improved. The head is equipped with two thick alignment lines known as 'dual track alignment' on the top, allowing for intuitive target direction verification. The rounded top blade and stable sole design facilitate a comfortable address.

Furthermore, the putter is paired with the 'STROKE LAB 120 BLACK' shaft, which is tilted 2 degrees toward the face, and the 'Reverse Taper 2.0 TRTL Slim Grip' to support a balanced stroke.

A representative from Callaway Golf Korea stated, 'The TRTL MAX S2S combines the larger head and high moment of inertia unique to the TRTL putter with the zero torque technology of the existing S2S model, further enhancing putting stability. It will be a great option for golfers seeking to reduce head wobble and achieve a more consistent stroke, even in mis-hit situations.'
