The Incheon International Airport Corporation is hosting the 6th Incheon Airport Travel Video Contest to discover domestic travel content that foreign tourists would like to know about. Anyone, regardless of nationality, can participate, and a total of 30 winning entries will be selected to receive prizes worth a total of 7.6 million won.

According to the Incheon Airport Corporation on October 26, the contest will run for five weeks, from today until November 29. This year's theme is 'My Recommended Korean Travel for Foreigners,' where participants can create videos showcasing travel destinations, local eateries, activities, and travel information they wish to share with foreign tourists.

Individuals or teams can enter, and videos must be between 30 seconds and 60 seconds long, primarily using English audio or subtitles to cater to foreign viewers.

The corporation will evaluate entries based on theme relevance, completeness, creativity, and communication effectiveness, selecting a total of 30 winners. The grand prize winner will receive a 13-inch iPad Pro, while two excellence award winners will receive 'Stand By Me 2' devices, with the total prize pool amounting to 7.6 million won.

This year's contest features a different theme compared to last year's, which focused on experiences of traveling to China through Incheon Airport under the title 'Let's Go Back to China.' This year, the focus has shifted to inbound tourism content that introduces Korean travel destinations to foreigners.

The government has set a target of attracting 23 million foreign tourists this year. In the first quarter, inbound tourists exceeded 4.76 million, marking the highest number for that period. The government aims to reach 30 million tourists by 2029.

Selected works will be posted on Incheon Airport's official social media channels to promote Korean tourism to foreign audiences.

Lee Sang-yong, head of the New Business Division at Incheon Airport Corporation, stated, "We hope to discover a variety of innovative Korean travel content that can attract foreign interest and will continue marketing efforts to bring more foreign tourists to Korea."
