SEOUL, October 26 (AJP) - K-pop boy group WayV's member Xiaojun will make his solo debut Monday with his first EP, "Hey, Somebody," SM Entertainment said.
The five-track album will be released at noon, along with a music video for its title track of the same name.
The mid-tempo title track centers on the journey from feeling like "nobody" to recognizing one's own worth. The album includes Chinese- and English-language versions of the song.
Xiaojun also participated in writing and composing tracks on the album, including "Sky High" and "Wave (我眼中的你)."
The singer said he wanted the album to offer listeners a sense of comfort rather than deliver a direct message or lesson.
"Hey, Somebody" marks Xiaojun's first solo release since beginning his career as a member of WayV.
