KB Kookmin Bank held a job fair in Busan to connect young job seekers with local companies. Now in its 30th year, the 'KB Good Job Fair' has supported the employment of over 49,000 job seekers, making it a leading job fair in South Korea.

On October 26, KB Kookmin Bank announced the opening of the '2026 KB Good Job Busan Job Festival' at BEXCO in Busan. The cumulative number of visitors to the KB Good Job Fair has reached 1.27 million.

To provide job opportunities for young job seekers and assist local companies in securing talent, KB Kookmin Bank collaborated closely with the Busan Metropolitan City and government agencies.

The fair featured recommended excellent companies from Busan, including women-friendly businesses, distribution and logistics firms, small and medium-sized enterprises focused on youth employment, major corporate partners, and KOSDAQ-listed companies.

The event included job consulting booths, an artificial intelligence (AI) interview experience area, military recruitment sections, and vocational experience zones. Additionally, a career seminar for young job seekers was conducted by director Jang Hang-jun, a promotional model for KB Kookmin Bank, along with a recruitment briefing from SK Hynix.

KB Kookmin Bank is also providing support to alleviate the hiring burden on companies while assisting young job seekers. The bank will offer a hiring support fund of 1 million won per person, up to a maximum of 10 million won annually, for companies that hire regular employees. Furthermore, small businesses that excel in job creation will receive preferential loan rates of up to 1.3 percentage points. To assist job seekers with interview participation, the first 500 applicants will receive interview support funds.

The opening ceremony was attended by KB Kookmin Bank President Lee Hwan-joo, Busan Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Kim Kyung-deok, Chairman Jang In-hwa of the Shared Growth Committee, and Lee Chang-gil, Director of the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Agency.

President Lee stated, "This event serves as an opportunity for all generations, from young people seeking their first job to middle-aged individuals preparing for a new start with rich experience. We will always be by your side as a steadfast lighthouse illuminating the paths of job seekers and employers, serving as the nation's lifelong financial partner."
