"The Jakarta data center is set for completion in early November, and we secured tenants for its full capacity before completion, building a stable revenue base from the outset," said Yoo Ki-woong, vice president in LG CNS's AI and cloud division, on an earnings call on Friday.
LG CNS won the contract for the 11-story hyperscale facility in central Jakarta in August 2025.
The deal was worth about 100 billion won ($74.9 million) and was a first for a South Korean company, according to LG CNS. The site starts at 30 megawatts of power capacity, and its developer plans to expand it to 220 megawatts.
LG CNS is preparing more projects in Indonesia using a prefabricated modular method, which builds key equipment in advance and assembles it on site to cut construction time.
The company is also in talks with partners elsewhere in Asia-Pacific and plans to use the same approach to offset delays caused by shortages of power and skilled labor.
The company's US subsidiary will team up with local partners to enter North America and Europe.
"We plan to step up our push into North America and Europe based on our prefabricated modular data center capabilities and supply chain built on Nvidia's Vera Rubin," Yoo said.
LG CNS showcased its AI HAUS modular data center and a Vera Rubin-based AI factory service at a trade show in Singapore last month.
Earlier on Friday, the company reported third-quarter operating profit of 138.2 billion won, up 15 percent from a year earlier, on revenue of 1.66 trillion won.
