Slated for release Thursday, the Noir edition of the high-end sport utility vehicle (SUV), based on the automaker's top-tier trim, features exclusive black styling inside and out. Its name comes from the French word for black, and production will be limited to 1,000 units.
The SUV is priced at 51.94 million won (US$36,000) after tax benefits for eco-friendly vehicles.
The limited edition comes with Renault Korea's complimentary extended warranty, which covers the vehicle's body, engine and other major components for up to seven years or 140,000 kilometers.
Coverage for hybrid-specific components and the high-voltage battery remains unchanged at eight years or 160,000 kilometers for the former and 10 years or 200,000 kilometers for the latter.
Customers can also purchase an optional accessory package at a 30 percent discount.
