The Korea Technology Agency announced that it is hosting the '2026 6th Investment Briefing for Small and Medium Enterprises R&D Dedicated Bank' from November 3 to 4 at its headquarters in the Seoul metropolitan area.

This briefing was organized in collaboration with IBK Industrial Bank and Hana Bank, which serve as dedicated banks for R&D funding for small and medium enterprises, to support the commercialization and investment attraction of companies in the defense and 12 key national strategic technology sectors.

In September, the agency recruited participating companies from those engaged in R&D under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, ultimately selecting 16 firms with outstanding technological and market potential to present.

The selected companies conducted face-to-face investment presentations (IR) for the investment evaluators from the two banks. For companies that attracted interest, final investment decisions will be made through follow-up meetings.

Kim Young-shin, head of the Korea Technology Agency, stated, “To enhance the future competitiveness of our industry, we are expanding tailored support for the technological development and commercialization success of small and medium enterprises with excellent technologies. We will continue to strengthen our integrated support system that links commercialization and investment attraction in close cooperation with the dedicated R&D banks.”

The Korea Technology Agency serves as a specialized institution for R&D and technology innovation promotion, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, which are the backbone of the economy, in areas such as R&D and smart manufacturing innovation. It provides tailored R&D support based on the innovation capabilities of startups and high-growth ventures.
