W Concept is launching a K-Beauty pop-up store in Australia to expand its engagement with local consumers. The event will feature 12 skincare brands and plans to connect product experiences with purchases through its global mall.

W Concept announced on November 5 that it will operate the K-Beauty pop-up store at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) as part of the Korean Wave Expo, which runs until November 7. This initiative is organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to support the overseas expansion of retail companies. W Concept is collaborating with Shinsegae Hyperground to showcase products that reflect local consumer demand.

The theme of the pop-up is 'Experience K-Beauty through W.' The participating brands include a carefully selected lineup of 12 skincare brands such as Cherry XX, Quadsera, Skin1004, Melixir, Beigic, and Beauty Record.

W Concept has created spaces for visitors to experience products from each brand directly. QR codes linking to the global mall are placed throughout the pop-up space, allowing attendees to make online purchases after the event. The company planned this pop-up in response to the growing demand for skincare in Australia, noting that sales of skincare products in W Concept's global mall increased by 30% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.

A W Concept representative stated, "Given the high demand for K-Beauty brands focused on skincare in Australia, this will be an opportunity to promote various brands. We will continue to support excellent brands in expanding customer engagement and overseas distribution channels."

Meanwhile, W Concept recently revamped its men's section for the first time in six years. The company aims to strengthen its men's fashion business by restructuring brands and content to reflect the tastes and lifestyles of men in their 30s and 40s.
