Netmarble is set to showcase a new game leveraging Warner Bros.' popular animated intellectual properties (IP) through its North American subsidiary, Kabam. The company plans to expand its game lineup based on Kabam's experience in developing games using globally recognized IP.

On November 6, Netmarble announced the unveiling of its new idle collection role-playing game (RPG) 'WB All-Star Grow.'

'WB All-Star Grow' is being developed under a license from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Kabam, which Netmarble acquired in 2017, has a history of creating games utilizing global IP, including 'Marvel Contest of Champions,' 'Transformers: Forged to Fight,' and 'Disney Mirrorverse.'

The game features characters from popular animated IPs such as Warner Bros., DC, Looney Tunes, and Cartoon Network. A total of nine franchises are represented, including 'Justice League Unlimited,' 'Adventure Time,' 'Looney Tunes,' 'Teen Titans Go!,' 'Animaniacs,' 'Scooby-Doo,' 'Steven Universe,' 'Samurai Jack,' and 'The Powerpuff Girls.'

The storyline of 'WB All-Star Grow' begins with Brain from the animated series 'Pinky and the Brain' acquiring a device called the 'Universal Remote,' which allows him to control various TV worlds. Aspiring for world domination, Brain teams up with villains from multiple dimensions, from Metropolis to the future world of 'Samurai Jack,' granting them new abilities to alter the narratives of each universe.

Players can form teams by combining heroes and villains from different franchises, including Batman, Superman, Finn, and Jake, to counter Brain's plans. The game allows players to explore various universes.

Each character in the game possesses unique abilities, enabling players to mix and match characters from different works. At launch, over 100 characters will be available, with plans for continuous additions of new characters and universes post-launch.

Sébastien Goud, Kabam's executive producer, stated, “We focused on seamlessly integrating a variety of characters and universes into one game while enhancing the combat abilities, all while maintaining each character's unique humor and personality.”
