Toss announced on November 8 that its security conference, 'Guardians 26,' held on November 6 at the Grand Ballroom of COEX in Seoul, was a success.

Guardians is an annual security-focused conference organized by Toss, attracting over 1,000 information security professionals this year. The theme was 'Enable Innovation. Secure What's Next.' and discussions centered on security challenges and response strategies in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).

Experts from Toss and its six subsidiaries, including Toss Bank and Toss Securities, participated in 21 sessions sharing practical experiences on AI-based threat detection, zero-trust access control, and vulnerability assessments.

In his keynote address, Jeong Ho, Toss's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), noted that as cyberattacks utilizing AI become more sophisticated and new technologies like AI agents proliferate, the scope of corporate security is also expanding. He emphasized the need for security organizations to proactively identify and respond to risks to support corporate innovation.

Toss also shared practical examples of its initiatives, including the 'AI Gateway' to support the safe use of external AI, an access control system for AI agents, and its self-developed security solution, 'Titan.'

According to Toss, its security personnel increased from 49.5 in 2025 to 70 currently.

A Toss representative stated, "In an environment where new technologies emerge rapidly, the role of security is not to limit innovation but to help realize it safely. We will continue to actively share the security technologies and experiences gained on-site through Guardians and enhance security capabilities in collaboration with the industry."
