Trot singer Jang Yoon-jeong to tie the knot in Sept.

Trot singer Jang Yoon-jeong, 33, will tie the knot in September, her management company said Monday.

Jang will marry Do Kyung-hwan, a 31-year-old announcer at KBS 1TV, Inwoo Production said.

Inwoo said Jang has dated Do since she appeared last year in a KBS 1TV program co-hosted by Do, and they finally made up their mind to marry. The program, titled "Morning Forum: The Family Sings," airs every Saturday.

Their wedding is scheduled for September, but the exact date and place have yet to be decided, Inwoo said.

Jang is one of the most popular singers of trot recognized as the oldest form of Korean pop music. Do entered KBS 1TV in 2008.
