Officials reported that eight Syrians have been arrested on charges of inciting violence at a refugee camp in Jordan. Horrible violence was created by the camp residents on Friday when around 100 people residing in the camp started hitting the police with the stones when they didn’t allow them to leave the camp.

During the incident, several police officers were injured and some were taken to the hospital for the surgery due to the severe injury. A government spokesman said that around 10 police officers were severely injured by the violence created at the camp.

U.N. officials have warned the flood of refugees fleeing Syria threatens to overwhelm those providing assistance. U.N. agency UNICEF recently confessed it was “broke” and said that soon they will try to help and support to the people at the camp.

One of the camps known as Zaatari camp hosts around 150,000 refugees fleeing the brutal civil war in Syria which is far more than it was originally intended to house.

This situation made overcrowding in the camp and some U.N. agencies warned that soon they will finish their funds and would no longer have funds to supply essential aid to its residents. Since then the opening of the camp, several riots and clashes with Jordanian police have been reported.

Now, the situation has entirely changed. Nobody thought two years ago that Syrian nationals would come to the street shouting out loud calling for freedom and change.

The heavy sense of dictatorship and memories of the 1980s made Syrians think the wave of change in the region would never come to their country.

But it did happen. At first, people were surprised, but above all what shocked them was that their government would fire on peaceful protesters in Deraa. Every day, the death toll increased and in reaction more people took to the street.
