Burial services for a U.S. serviceman missing from the 1950-53 Korean War were held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., Thursday (local time).

Earlier this month, the Department of Defense announced that the remains of a U.S. serviceman missing from the Korean War had been identified as Army Pfc. James Holmes of Warren, Ohio.

About 7,880 U.S. soldiers remain missing since the end of the Korean War.
