Stacy Lewis dethrones Park In-bee in women's golf rankings

After reigning for more than a year, Park In-bee of South Korea was dethroned by Stacy Lewis of the United States in the women's world golf rankings on Sunday (local time).

Lewis moved up one notch to the top spot as she clinched her second victory of the season at the ShopRite LPGA Classic in Galloway, New Jersey, ending Park's 59-week reign, according to the newest rankings.

Lewis finished 16-under 197 in the ShopRite LPGA Classic earlier in the day, while Park shot a 7-under 206 to finish in a five-way tie for eighth place.

Park has yet to win on the LPGA Tour, after her stunning 2013 campaign. She was named winner of the 2013 Female Player of the Year award by the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA).
