Josef in Linz, Austria was on the Michelin recommended list in the Michelin travel guidebook of Austria. In the description, the restaurant is said to be "one of the city's most fashionable, buzzing places", and added, "It is not only a Szenebar, but a Vinotek". In translation, Szenebar means a trendy bar and Vinotek means a classy wine bar. So at the Josef, you can relax with cocktails or get lost in a conversation with a glass of vintage wine.
At the entrance, it was very simple and did not make much of an impression. However, as soon as you enter, you get a relaxed rustic yet trendy vibe from the decor and the servers who greet you.
