SEOUL -- BIGBANG member Seungri, who is scheduled to join a military boot camp later this month, will face a formal criminal investigation on charges of arranging sexual services for investors.

Investigators raided a music and dance club in southern Seoul on Sunday to seize evidence.

A South Korean online media reported in February which suspected that the 28-year-old singer, also known as a young entrepreneur, was involved in arranging sexual services for foreign investors in Yuri Holdings in 2015. The company was co-founded by Seungri for investment in restaurant and entertainment businesses.

The media outlet revealed an edited log from a smartphone messenger dialogue between four people including Seungri. The log showed Seungri giving orders to other people to prepare women for two Taiwanese men who were to visit a club in southern Seoul.

Police said they found no trace of drugs from Seungri. The singer voluntarily showed up for questioning on February 27 when an investigation was launched into alleged drug use, sexual assault and violence at Burning Sun, a club operated by the singer, in February. Seungri apologized and resigned from the club's management.
