SEOUL, August 16 (AJU PRESS) - A photo exhibition celebrating 30 years of The Korean Committee for United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) opens Tuesday at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul, showcasing the country's transformation from aid recipient to donor.
The exhibit, "For Every Child," which runs from August 16 to 25, highlights key moments in UNICEF's history. It features images from the 1950s when South Korea received aid, through fundraising efforts beginning in the 1990s, to its current status as a major donor country.
Organizers say the exhibition aims to honor those who helped build a culture of charitable giving in South Korean society.
Photos of UNICEF goodwill ambassadors' activities are also on display.
