SEOUL, November 20 (AJP) - The Dubai Future Forum 2024, the world’s largest gathering of futurists, opened Tuesday at the Museum of the Future, bringing together more than 150 speakers and 2,500 participants from 100 countries.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, attended the event, emphasizing Dubai’s role as a global leader in shaping the future.
“The Dubai Future Forum has established itself as a platform for uniting policymakers, academics, and futurists to transform visionary ideas into reality,” Sheikh Hamdan said.
The two-day event features 70 sessions on key global challenges and trends, as well as the Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity exhibition, showcasing 100 innovations tackling pressing issues. The initiative, overseen by Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, highlights groundbreaking solutions from students and academics worldwide.
Sheikh Hamdan also met graduates of leadership programs designed to equip future leaders with skills to drive innovation.
