SEOUL, November 20 (AJP) - Students at Seoul Women's University staged an on-campus protest on Wednesday, calling for disciplinary action against a professor accused of sexual harassment.
They spray-painted messages criticizing him at several locations on campus buildings in northern Seoul.
The professor was slapped with a three-month salary cut and other penalties for allegations of repeated physical harassment of students, but that was not enough for the angry students, who are now calling for his dismissal from the school.
The university pledged to take students' concerns into account but also warned that it may seek compensation for damage to campus property and facilities.
