A Hong Kong-based tech firm will roll out a Park Hae-jin-themed smartphone this year in cooperation with the South Korean actor's management agency Mountain Movement, a PR company said Tuesday.
The mobile phone will be available in China in September or October, HNS HQ said, giving no further details.
Park, 33, gained great fame from a webtoon-based hit drama "Cheese in the Trap" that showed the real life of South Korean college students and caused a sensation across China.
For distribution, Park's side has been in talks with ZTE Corp, a Chinese multinational telecom equipment and systems company, which has released a limited edition etched with Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, the ad agency said.
