What would you do when you catch your loves ones doing completely illegal deeds like collecting child pornography? A Californian wife notified the local authorities immediately after finding the appalling contents in her husband's computer.
Matthew Coda, a 47-year-old Menlo Park resident, was arrested at the San Francisco International Airport on Monday evening on suspicion of possession of thousands child pornographic images. He was under investigation since September this year after his wife alerted police.
The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office's Detective Sal Zuno who is part of investigation told San Francisco Chronicle that "the suspect's wife contacted us and was able to provide us with information that her husband was in possession of child pornography", and continued, "The investigation continued for several months, and with her help we were able to get evidence and images."
After investigators found over 3,000 pedophiliac images in Coda's computer, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Matthew Coda is a Business Development Director at Clark Street Associates in Mountain View, California. He is held at Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City, California, on $200,000 bail.
