Hip-hop singer Zion. T to release new song exclusively through YouTube

SEOUL -- Zion. T, a South Korean hip-hop singer-songwriter, will release a new song via his private YouTube channel. It's rare for artists to release regular songs just through YouTube.

The Black Label, the 30-year-old's agency, said in a statement on Monday that Zion. T's "Expressionless" (working title) would be released at 7:00 p.m. (0400 GMT) Tuesday. He released his digital single, May, on November 6.

"If there's a song that I wish to present to you comfortably like now, I'd like to play it more often in the future," Zion. T was quoted as saying. The singer has said he would seek a new style of music in 2020. 

Many artists release songs via online music services and music videos through YouTube while some upload their mixtape, a non-profit album filled with experimental music, onto social media.
