SEOUL -- A digital map information service that provides accessibility information about public facilities including museums, art halls and exhibition halls will be launched by Seoul City on September 30 to help people with mobility problems. The service will cover more facilities in the future, and information will be open to the public so that private companies can develop applications and related services
The Seoul city government said in a statement on September 23 that it would release a web-based digital map service so that people with disabilities and other people with infants and toddlers can easily use public facilities. The digital map service will show routes from subway stations to destinations as well as display information about amenities such as the number of kid-friendly bathrooms, nursing rooms and bathrooms for the disabled.
