After its first successful event held in the southern port city of Busan in 2020, KAAFAIR will be held for the first time in three years for three days from July 20 to July 22. JM Company, the event's operator said in a statement on March 16 that products and services from various entertainment sectors such as theme parks, digital theme parks including virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality, entertainment facility services, and leisure activities will be showcased at the exhibition event.
South Korea's theme park industry has been sluggish during the last few years because of the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. However, various parks including Legoland in Chuncheon east of Seoul and Lotte Adventure World Busan in Busan and Inspire Entertainment Resort in the western port city of Incheon opened despite the social distancing campaign in hopes of welcoming more customers when the pandemic is over.
JM Company said that KAAFAIR will offer various opportunities for companies to showcase their products and services so that visitors can experience them. Guest speakers from around the world will participate in seminars and exchange ideas and know-how with international investors.
