SEOUL, August 20 (AJU PRESS) - Korean video game developers are set to make their largest-ever presence at gamescom 2024, Europe's premier gaming exhibition, which opens on Wednesday in Cologne, Germany.

Major companies including Nexon, Krafton, Pearl Abyss and Hybe IM will showcase new titles to both consumers and industry professionals, marking a significant increase in Korean participation compared to last year, when Hybe IM was the only major Korean company with a standalone booth.

Nexon will debut its action role-playing game "The First Berserker: Khazan" to the public for the first time, while Krafton plans to reveal information about its new mobile game "Dark and Darker Mobile" and "inZOI" at the opening night live event.

Pearl Abyss is set to unveil its highly anticipated title "Crimson Desert" to the general public for the first time, following its teaser at last year's event.

The Korea Creative Content Agency will operate a joint pavilion to support 13 small and medium-sized game companies and new technology firms during the five-day exhibition.
