According to U.S. fashion magazine Vogue on Monday, the couple held a private outdoor wedding in northern Seoul last Saturday. They had originally planned to marry in California in November but later changed their plans.
The wedding took place at the former home of Ejae's maternal grandfather, veteran actor Shin Young-kyun. She reportedly spent part of her childhood there, and her brother also held his wedding at the same venue.
Among the guests were singers Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, who also provided vocals for the 110-minute film which tells the story of fictional K-pop superstars who possess secret powers to protect their fans from supernatural threats.
Having first met through a mutual friend in May 2017, EJAE and Kim grew closer through their shared interests in music before starting a romantic relationship while working together on songwriting.
Before rising to global fame, Ejae was a trainee at talent mill SM Entertainment and went on to write several K-pop hits including Red Velvet's "Psycho" and aespa's "Drama."
