Celltrion on Oct. 27 reported its largest-yet quarterly operating profit of 525.3 billion won ($396.6 million) for the quarter ended September, up 74.3 percent from a year earlier, driven by rising sales of its high-margin new products. Revenue rose 53.1 percent to 1.58 trillion won, also a quarterly record.
The confirmed figures beat the company’s Oct. 12 preliminary estimate of 510 billion won in operating profit and 1.5 trillion won in revenue. Operating profit rose about 16 percent from 451.8 billion won in the second quarter and beat the previous quarterly high of 475.2 billion won, set in the fourth quarter of 2025.
