South Korean President Applauds Obama for Fighting Terrorism

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak sent a letter to US President Barack Obama, sayng he has been supporting for the US fight against terrorism after Osama bin Laden was killed by US special forces.

In the letter, Lee said the bin Laden's death was an important accomplishment in Obama's attempt to eradicate terrorism.

Lee added, "South Korea will cooperate with the US in the future operations agains terrorism."

Earlier, Cheong Wa Dae announced that US informed South Korea of the killing of bin Laden before Obama made an official announcement and press release.
