Bieber was caught drag racing down a Miami Beach street before dawn in a rented yellow Lamborghini, police were quoted as saying. The 19-year-old was also charged with resisting arrest without violence in addition to drag racing.
Bieber reportedly told the authorities that he had consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana and taken prescription drugs.
He was released on 2.7-million-won bail later in the day.
