Cable channel to rerun 1994 horror drama ‘M’

MBC Drama Net said Friday it will rerun the horror drama “M” on Aug. 2-3 to mark the 20th anniversary of the airing of the drama, one of the highest-rated South Korean dramas of all time.

The drama will air starting 9 p.m. each day, said MBC Drama Net, a cable channel.

The 10-episode series starring Shim Eun-ha, a retired actress, recorded an average viewer rating of 38.6 percent. Its 10th and last installment posted a viewer rating of 52.2 percent.

Shim, who made her acting debut in 1993, rose to popularity in the 1990s, starring in dramas such as “M,” “The Last Match” and “Trap of Youth.”
