IU chosen as model for new Chamisul soju

K-pop singer and actress IU has been selected as a model for new Chamisul soju having 17.8 percent alcohol content, lower than previous Chamisuls, its South Korean maker said Friday. IU will appear in ads for the newest Chamisul, a distilled rice-based liquor, Hite Jinro said. The ads will air starting in December, the brewery said.
