Kim Hee-jung, who appears in a 2015 South Korean film based on a bloody inter-Korean naval skirmish 13 years ago, poses for the camera during a recent interview in Seoul with The Aju Business Daily newspaper. In the movie "Battle of Yeonpyeong" which opened in local cinemas June 24, Kim plays the mother (cameo) of Corporal Park Dong-hyuk, one of six seamen killed in the naval clash that occurred in waters off the frontline island of Yeonpyeong in the West (Yellow) Sea on June 29, 2002. As of July 16, the film drew more than 5,054,070 viewers, becoming the most-watched Korean film in the country in 2015 thus far.
