Just to get a glimpse of the prominent Song couple, hundreds of domestic and foreign fans braved a sudden cold weather to gather in the front yard of a hotel, hours before actor Song Joong-ki and his wife Song Hye- kyo get married in a ceremony held in tight security.
The wedding ceremony started at 4:00 pm (0700GMT) in the garden of a guest house at Hotel Shilla on Tuesday, attended by family members and friends including Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi. Only about 250 people were reportedly invited to the ceremony that left out photo walls, red carpets and other items commonly used at the wedding of celebrities.

Some Chinese tourists came in groups and representatives from fan clubs held up congratulatory placards. Chinese fans shouted slogans such as "We are fans from China! We love you!" in Korean, and Chinese live streamers broadcast the scene.
Actor Yoo Ah-in read a congratulatory letter. Singer Ock Joo-hyun sang a song for the couple, and actor Park Bo-gum played the piano, to which the groom was expected to sing a serenade for the bride, according to Yonhap News Agency.
