Debut album of BTS brother band receives more than 100,000 pre-orders

SEOUL -- "Star", the debut album of TXT, the five-member brother band of K-pop group BTS, has received more than 100,000 pre-orders. The album including five songs will be released on March 5.

Iriver, a South Korean music distributor, said in a statement Friday that 104,385 copies of "Star" were pre-ordered in three days. Big Hit Entertainment started a promotion campaign for TXT in early January by revealing teaser images and videos showing members.
