Hyundai department store launches 'care food' brand for old people and patients

SEOUL -- The food service wing of Hyundai Department Store Group has made a foray into the niche market of "care food" by launching a new brand targeting old consumers and patients who seek soft food that is easily digested.

Care food is more balanced in nutrients and calories. The easy-to-digest menus are normally cooked with soft and easily digestible ingredients. Greating, a care food brand launched by Hyundai Green Food on Tuesday, targets a niche market of old consumers, pregnant women, patients, children and those who are on a diet.

Along with healthy juice and healthy food, Hyundai Green Food partnered with Noom Korea, which runs a health care program, to provide healthcare services that combined diet management and exercise therapy.
