At least 25 people die after drinking toxic bootleg alcohol in eastern India

SEOUL, October 18 (AJP) - At least 25 people died after consuming illicit liquor containing toxic substances in India's eastern state of Bihar.
The incident occurred in the Saran and Siwan districts, according to news reports on Thursday.
Local police announced the arrest of 22 individuals for illegally selling alcohol in Bihar, where the sale and consumption of alcohol have been banned since 2016.
