The divorce document was submitted to the Seoul Family Court on May 22, the officials said.
"I learned that the two failed to resolve 'irreconcilable differences,'" a source close to Tak said, adding that Tak, who also worked as TV show host, halted all of his activities.
They have one son and one daughter.
