"I became the father of a baby boy. My baby is healthy," the 38-year-old singer said in a message on his Instagram account, adding that "I want to express my thanks to my wife and all people who have prayed for us."
He also posted a photograph, in which he holds his baby boy in his arms, on the account.
Jo married former actress Goo Min-ji in November 2010.
