The agreement includes integrating ADI's products into Tata's applications, such as electric vehicles and network infrastructure, while aligning their strategic roadmaps.
Tata Electronics, the electronics manufacturing division of the 156-year-old Tata Group, is investing a total of $14 billion to build India's first semiconductor manufacturing facility in the western state of Gujarat and a chip assembly and testing facility in the northwestern state of Assam.
ADI said that Tata Electronics and ADI will seek opportunities to manufacture ADI products at Tata Electronics' fab in Gujarat and the facility in Assam.
"By combining our real-world semiconductor solutions and software expertise with Tata's vision and capabilities, we can accelerate the development of cutting-edge technologies, from electric vehicles to next-generation network infrastructure," said Vincent Roche, CEO and Chair at ADI. "Together, we are not only building a stronger semiconductor ecosystem but also shaping the future of global electronics manufacturing."
