Samsung's 'Raemian' highest-valued apartment brand

Samsung C&T Corporation's "Raemian" was named as South Korea's highest-valued apartment brand for the 15th consecutive year in 2014 by a brand value evaluating company, Wednesday.

Brand Stock said "Raemian" scored 829.7 out of 1,000 points in its annual Brand Stock Top Index (BSTI).  

Daewoo Engineering and Construction's "Prugio" was ranked second with a score of 816.6 points, followed by Daelim Industrial's "e-pyeonhan sesang" (806.3), GS Engineering and Construction's "Xii"  (796.3) and Lotte Engineering and Construction's "Lotte Castle (788.9). 

Amid protracted sluggishness of the domestic real estate market, "Raemian" fell 14 notches to 93rd place in 2014 from 79th in the previous year in South Korea's Top 100 Brands index, which was released by Brand Stock earlier this year. In 2012, "Raemian" ranked 34th.
